NFL Football

I don't have much to say since I reeled off such a frothy puddle of prose this morning, but I do want to keep this site semi-alive until I've straightened things out with the Almanac web host. So I thought I'd put my prognostication hat on and tell you:

Pats over Colts. (Yeah, the Colts looked good last weekend, but they scored less and allowed more than they did against the Broncos last year.)

Eagles over Vikings. (I'm not real impressed with the Eagles lately, but both teams can't choke on this one, and I think even Randy Moss's 'fro won't be insulation enough in Philadelphia, in January.)

Rams over Falcons. (This is purely vindictive. I had Michael Vick as my fantasy QB this season and I want the bastard to go down.)

Jets over Steelers. (From my distant perspective, the Jets seem to have been getting stronger every week toward the end of the season. The Steelers seemed to be slouching. Plus, I want the AFC Championship to be played in New England, and I want yet another chance for a New England team to slap a New York team around.)

If the Colts somehow manage to beat the Pats, they're going to run the table.
