A very important Almanac today, in which Red and Blue Europe are revealed. (Also King Cnut, St. Augustine, and more.) I may develop that theme further right here on the blog over the weekend—it seems worthy of deeper treatment... and this blog seems worthy of more than the little pointers to the Almanac it seems to consist of lately.

I apologize for the lack of blogging, Almanacking, and message board posts over the last four or five days. Also for any outstanding emails. Things have been very busy. There's light at the end of the tunnel, but it may be another day or so before I'm really back in the swing of things.
